GOOD News!!!

I have a DVR coming today
I'm so excited and i just can't hide it!!
I know I know i know.......

I don't have one of those yet...I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to move from my TV if I did.
But...I would also love to record those shows I forget about...hmmm.

I'm afriad i will stay up way to late watching everythig i didn't during the day..
Yay for no more falling aspleed in recliner trying to watch shows at 2 am because that's they only time they come on!!

This is going to sound totally crazy, but if we decide we want something.. i just have my hubbie pick up an extra shift somewhere.. *looks around*
Poor guy.. I think he is going to be needing some time off howevere, he just had a horrible call where the baby died, and he's been a little depressed for a couple days....

Laurie!!! I am so happy for you. This will change your reality TV life!!! It just enhances it 1,000 fold. This is going the be the best day EVER!!!

Yay for you! Now you and your reality buddy can REALLY go to town! I wonder which one of you spends the MOST time watching t.v.??? LOL!

As far as your hubby and his difficult call with baby....that's tough! I mentioned this on TM's but my bil was just involved with the kidnapping/murder of the girl in South Salt Lake a couple of weeks ago. He is a cop and was at the end of his shift when they got the call that they had found her...so he had to go and help . Even though they get pretty good at building up their resistance to crappy stuff...something are STILL difficult and horrible to deal with!!! I'm sorry!!

I love my DVR! I just wish it had a larger hard drive. I WANT MORE! We are currently changing service providers and Dish is giving us two! One for my bedroom! Woo Hoo!

OMH I would totally pee my pants if I got two!!!! That would be super duper!!!

Can you put them both on one tv, or do you have to have them on seperate tv's??

I'm pretty sure they have to be separate tv's.

Separate TV's, but my husband found (Costco, I think) an additional hard drive you can add to your current dvr. Dish also has a thing that you can take the dvr and transfer it to your computer so you can have it FOREVER!!!!!

What is Verizon FIOS?

It is fiber optics. The Verizon contractors dug in our yard to put the fiber optic lines in this past winter, and it is FINALLY available to us. We are doing our tv and internet with it. It is supposed to be even more clear than high def and it is supposed to be faster than any other internet speed.

Saturday we got Dish Network and so we have TWO dvr's! OH. My. Gosh!. I LOVE THIS! 200 hours of DVR space? OH. My!
